A friend of ours lives in Boulder City and said we had to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! The place is cute but it's a small space so expect a wait, especially considering its popularity. The servers are quick to get you what you want though so the turn over is quick. The breakfast taco is my fav but really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You won't be disappointed if you stop in and visit this quaint and historic portion of Boulder City and try this amazing restaurant!

We enjoyed every moment we had in Boulder City. Such a wonderful town filled with local businesses. I'm thinking this is THE breakfast spot. Had a much larger group for the ride than anticipated, so we called in advance to let them know and they were so accommodating! We were all sat together immediately in the back room (with a Tiki bar!!). The staff are super friendly and welcoming! We had refill carafes at each table, plenty of attentive servers and the food came out quickly and delicious! The pancakes are super fluffy and my egg was perfectly cooked. My husband loved his western omelette, especially with the huge chunks of ham! But let's be real. That pork chili verde. O.M.G. I would drive the 30+ miles just to have that again. Pork is fall apart tender, it's deliciously spicy and so comforting. You won't find this in Vegas. Take the trip to Boulder City. You will not be disappointed. This has officially been added to our rotation and we will be retuning many times.

The food was all good. Notable: - The corned beef hash was perfect, with a nice crispness to it. - The onions rings that came with the BLAT sandwich were perfect. Nice breaded crunch, onion stayed inside with the batter/breading. - The meatloaf and gravy were delicious. Cute place with lots of kitschy stuff, signed photo from chef Guy Fieri, who featured the place on his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives show. Come early, like before 8:30 am, if you want to get in without waiting very long. The service was friendly and efficient. Very enjoyable visit.

We loved this place! Such a fun spot, so many things to look at on the walls. This place was on diners, drive ins and dives and I can see why! The staff was super friendly and the food was so amazing! The menu was extensive but not overly so...would love to come back and try other items!

If Boulder City ever considered having a sister city in the United States, I would nominate Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. Both cities pack a hefty punch in the small, historic towns category and effortlessly cater to the diverse tastes of history buffs, outdoor enthusiasts, foodies, antique & vintage shoppers, bikers, and a hodgepodge of other domestic & international tourists. I'll leave you with these two fun facts & my review of The World Famous Coffee Cup Cafe to illustrate my point: Fun Fact #1: The Boulder City Historic District--where this restaurant is located--is Nevada's largest listing on the National Register of Historic Places with 514 buildings. Fun Fact #2: Boulder City is one of two cities in the state of Nevada that bans gaming/casinos, and it's the only city in Southern Nevada with a growth ordinance to preserve its small town feel. The city is perched above Lake Mead and Hoover Dam (which created the town) and is a mecca for kayaking, biking, hiking, water sports, stargazing, exploring old mining ghost towns, etc. Restaurant Review: The World Famous Coffee Cup Cafe is one of the more popular restaurants in Boulder City, and it's solid as a rock. I stopped by for Sunday brunch this past weekend with my cousin and a friend, and there was roughly a 30-35 minute wait. No problem at all; that gave us some time to explore the locally owned businesses in the historic district and grab coffee from the coffee shop at the end of the block. Once we got back to the restaurant and were able to grab a table, everything went off without a hitch. First of all, we received satisfactory customer service. The food also lived up to the hype. Both of my dining companions ordered the Breakfast Tacos, and my cousin could not stop raving about how bomb and filling they were. While my friend's food critiques were a lot more demure, he also noted the tacos were pretty tasty. I ordered the 3 Egg White Omelette (86 the Swiss cheese) with cottage cheese and a cup of fruit on the side. I also ordered a side of extra crispy home fries for everyone at the table to share family-style. Everything came out just how I wanted, and I left the restaurant a happy camper. On a final note, the colorful and fun design aesthetic at The Coffee Cup is part of the overall experience, and it kept me thoroughly entertained during my dining experience. It was also a good conversation starter at our table as we discussed the abundance of surf boards and water skis at a restaurant in the Mojave Desert. Note: This restaurant has been featured on The Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Somehow, I forgot to grab a picture of Guy Fieri's poster on their wall while juggling different priorities during my group brunch.

Three of us came here on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend prepared to wait. And we did wait, a little more than an hour but we weren't upset about it. You can order drinks while you wait! It's the perfect morning cafe feel and style. Everything seemed reasonably priced and portion sizes were good. Service was acceptable but again they were packed and turning and burning. No time for chit chat! Started with an amazing cinnamon roll and the three of us had a fork fight for the last bite! The "short on cash" is hilarious and perfect for a light eater and cheap! Eggs cooked as ordered. Bacon was nice and crispy. Food was perfect cafe food, exactly how we pictured it for a lazy Sunday morning. Coffee was good and plentiful though I had to ask for refills, but again they were booming! 100% will be back and use this place as an excuse to come out to Boulder City!

This is a cute downtown spot! It's small but mighty! Open for breakfast and lunch only. The dog was delicious and had a few unique items like the chili dog wrap that I had. It was good and exactly what the title implies. Service was quick and pleasant.

Another place I got a chance to try that was on dinner, drives & dives. We had just done a Hoover's damn tour. This place was recommended by my husband aunt. They have a wide variety of food. You can tell this is a local spot. The prices were extremely reasonable. They server Pepsi which is a plus for my husband.

THREE G's - Great food, great service great prices. First time here definitely coming back again - although maybe not on a Saturday because we did have to wait about 45 minutes for a table but the people watching was great. Plus Boulder City had a cute little downtown! Upon seating, a young gal took our drink order immediately and then our waitress came by soon after to take our order. We shared a chili verde omelette. It was delicious! It came with tasty home fries and a nice hearty piece of toast. We also ordered a fruit cup. They have two options for fruit and it was a nice cup for only $3. We also shared a waffle. It was just okay; typical waffle. The place has interesting decor with a fun vibe. Really enjoyed it all!

My husband and I watched the episode with Guy Fieri from Diners Drive in's and Dives from The Food Network channel with The Coffee Cup. Our interest was piqued and we pined to try this iconic restaurant. There was a wait but it was worth it. We loved the food, it was fresh and hot. The service was great and the atmosphere busy with a lot of people eating. It's a nice place to visit and enjoy a meal. I am glad we went. We will return in the future.
